Child Safety Standards

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Renga (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes our published standards on this issue, consistent with app store child safety requirements. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Renga has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors, including but not limited to:

Accounts that violate this policy are permanently banned, and any content is removed, immediately upon detection — the standard 24-hour report review window described in our Terms of Service does not apply to CSAE; such reports are treated as the highest priority and actioned as soon as possible.

2. Minimum Age and Enforcement

Renga requires all users to be at least 17 years old to create an account (see Terms of Service, Section 1). We do not knowingly permit minors to use the App. Accounts believed to belong to a minor are removed.

3. Detection and Prevention

We use a combination of methods to detect and prevent CSAE on Renga:

4. How to Report CSAE

If you encounter suspected CSAE on Renga:

Reports are reviewed as a priority, and offending content and accounts are removed as soon as possible upon confirmation.

Where required by applicable law, confirmed instances of CSAM are reported to the relevant national authority (for example, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, via its CyberTipline) and law enforcement, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating CSAE.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy, or reports of suspected CSAE, can be sent to safety@renga-app.com.
